The indoor pool and jacuzzi were perfect for winding down after a long day out. Just a heads up, ice is only available on the first floor, which was a bit of a trek but didn’t dampen our experience! 😊

I had a pleasant experience at the Fairfield Inn in Spearfish. The staff remained approachable, always greeting us with smiles, which created a welcoming vibe. The room had a lovely view of the fields and felt spacious. The pool was newly filled, but a bit too cold for my liking. Breakfast was decent, but during one morning, some items ran out quickly, which was a bummer. On the downside, the front desk could use better training regarding room cleaning and maintenance issues. We found the room not completely clean, with leftover personal items from previous guests. This definitely made the first impression less favorable. I also had an unexpected problem with billing. It took longer than anticipated for the hold on my card to be released. I did appreciate the breakfast variety, though more consistent restocking would improve the experience.
